Michele Sefman has worked in the entertainment industry for many years as a set decorator, art director and production designer. Once described as “a budget alchemist”, because of her uncanny ability to create visually compelling work with virtually any dollar amount at seemingly any scale, her work includes the shows "Martin", "Moesha", "The Parkers", and "Just Jordan".

Michele has designed numerous film projects as well as hundreds of commercials, videos, stage and live events, exhibits and printed materials. Her expertise in maintaining a high quality of work, regardless of the project or budget, is a testament to her experience and her infectious enthusiasm for her work.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Direction from San Jose State University and has taken graduate courses at the Art Center College of Design, the University of Paris, and the Otis/Parsons College of Art and Design. She is a member of the Local 44, Local 800, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Set Decorators' Society of America and has received awards from the SDSA and Women in Film.

When not working or desiging, Michele enjoys sculpting, cooking, yoga, and spending time in Baja, Mexico.
